Westrans welcomes Carlo Gentile

Carlo Gentile sml

Carlo Gentile is returning to Westrans in his previous role of parts manager for Westrans’ Regina branch. Carlo brings with him 33 years of experience in the industry, including nearly 25 years with Westrans.

Carlo has extensive knowledge in gearing, transmissions, differentials, driveline, clutches, and has been trained in drive shaft repair. He’s well known in this industry not only around southern Saskatchewan, but across Western Canada. He returns to Westrans after a 10-month hiatus during which he travelled southern Saskatchewan doing outside sales. Carlo has unparalleled experience, knowledge, and customer relations skills, and is an extraordinary team player. We’re excited to have him as part of the Westrans team once again.

Upgrade your Sprinter van's drive shaft

The OE drive shaft originally installed in your Sprinter van features staked-in, non-removable U-joints. That means that when you’re dealing with a U-joint problem, you can’t simply replace that part ‒ you’ll have to replace the entire drive shaft.

But did you know that you don’t need to return to the original manufacturer to replace your Sprinter’s drive shaft?

Sprinter drive shaft new 20

Westrans repairs and custom-builds drive shafts for all applications, including Sprinter vans. Westrans offers competitive prices and quick turnaround times. Our drive shafts are made with top-quality parts, high-speed balanced, and quality-ensured.

Best of all for owners of Sprinter vans, we can upgrade your drive shaft to allow for replaceable U-joints, meaning that the days of replacing your entire drive shaft for a single U-joint failure are over.
